School Fee Checklist: Calculate the Full Cost Before Admission

Compare the cost of the same class and academic session. Separate the first-year bill from the recurring annual bill before comparing two schools.

Ask for these figures in writing

Use two totals

First-year payable = recurring compulsory charges + one-time charges + chosen optional services + deposits due. Keep refundable deposits visible as cash needed, rather than treating them as a permanent cost. A second total should exclude one-time admission charges and deposits so you can assess the following year.

Illustration only: tuition of ₹1,20,000 plus annual charges of ₹20,000 and a one-time admission charge of ₹30,000 means ₹1,70,000 before transport or other extras. Dividing this by 12 helps household planning; it does not mean the school accepts monthly payment.

Check the payment and withdrawal terms

Ask when the first payment falls due, what happens if admission is withdrawn, which charges are non-refundable and how a refund is requested. Save the dated quote and terms before paying. Do not assume another branch uses the same charges.

Compare the evidence, not just the headline

In each profile, check the fee session, class coverage and exclusions. A published schedule does not confirm a seat. Where fees are unavailable, request a quote instead of treating the missing amount as zero. Use the school comparison alongside your written quotes.

Put your shortlist to work

Browse available profiles, save suitable options and compare the same class or course. You can do this without submitting an enquiry.
