Historical eligibility and skill requirement
The notice required Class 12 or equivalent by 1 August 2025. Ordinary age limits on that date were 18–30 for Grade C and 18–27 for Grade D, with prescribed relaxations. Stenography skills were required; a general Class 12 qualification alone did not remove the skill-test requirement.
The skill test used ten minutes of dictation at 100 words per minute for Grade C and 80 for Grade D. Ordinary transcription times were Grade D English 50/Hindi 65 minutes and Grade C English 40/Hindi 55 minutes, with separate eligible compensatory-time provisions.

Vacancies and final recommendations
The original notice’s approximate vacancy estimate is not the final recommendation count. The later final result records 232 Grade C and 1,483 Grade D recommendations. Always attach the date and stage to a vacancy or result figure.
Final allocation and next steps
The final result superseded FRTA ranks. Selection remained provisional pending user-department document verification. The allocated department handles appointment formalities; the write-up says to contact it if no correspondence arrives within six months of the final result. SSC did not prepare a reserve/waiting list.
