Notification, dates and vacancies
The original notification contained state/UT and category-specific regular/backlog tables. Do not add horizontal PwBD/ex-servicemen figures again to the principal vacancy total. Registration was 6–26 August 2025. SBI Careers now lists the main result and first wait list, so “result expected soon” is stale for this cycle.

Eligibility and application archive
This notice used a 20–28 base age on 1 April 2025 and a graduation/equivalent completion deadline of 31 December 2025, subject to its provisional final-year and other clauses. Candidates applied for one state/UT and had to satisfy the specified local-language condition. Applications are closed. Do not substitute the newer cycle’s reference dates.
Exam pattern and language stage
The archive’s prelims used 100 questions/100 marks over one hour: English 30, Numerical Ability 35 and Reasoning 35, separately timed at twenty minutes each. Main used 190 questions/200 marks over 160 minutes: General/Financial Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning/Computer Aptitude. Objective wrong answers attracted one-quarter of the assigned mark.
The selection also included the prescribed local-language requirement and documentary exemptions. It was not a PO interview process. Use the original notice for detailed eligibility, shortlisting and language-test conditions.
Salary and final selection
The notification stated starting basic pay ₹26,730, comprising ₹24,050 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates. This is not take-home salary. Appointment and allowances remain subject to SBI’s conditions.
