Notification and amendment
The detailed notification defines the post parameters, educational qualifications, medical standards and recruitment process. The November corrigendum changed application-related dates and specified vacancy and preference changes. Use the amended dates rather than the original closing date when reconstructing an application record.
Where each question is answered
- Exam-date timeline: revised CBT 1 dates and CBT 2 schedule
- Call-letter guide: stage, identity and document checks
- Later CEN 04/2026 eligibility guide — a separate recruitment
- RRB JE main hub
Selection and post preferences
The selected post matters throughout the process. A qualification that matches one engineering category does not automatically match every JE post. Use the category and discipline rows in the notification and retain the preference order in the submitted application. Medical suitability is also post-specific.
Documents to keep together
Keep the application printout, fee record, educational certificates and category evidence with the CEN identifier. Later-stage communications should be filed separately from documents for a newer application. A candidate may encounter notices for more than one recruitment on the same RRB website.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a 2025 page mention 2026? The recruitment number stays the same while its stages take place later.
Can this notice establish eligibility for CEN 04/2026? No. Read the newer notification and its amendments for that recruitment.
