Before opening the candidate login
Confirm the advertisement number and that you need the main call letter. Keep your registration details available, but enter them only in the login reached from SBI Careers. Do not use a Junior Associate or another SBI recruitment link simply because it appears nearby on the page.
Check the downloaded document
- Candidate name and roll or registration number.
- Examination stage, date, reporting time and venue.
- Photograph and identity-document requirements.
- Instructions about preliminary-stage documents.
- Any restrictions, declarations or permitted assistance relevant to you.
Preliminary documents needed for mains
The main-examination handout explains the documents candidates must bring, including the authenticated preliminary-stage call letter and identity-proof copy where specified, alongside the main call letter. Read the complete handout rather than relying on a checklist copied from a different examination.
Check that the name in your identity evidence matches the application and follow the prescribed process if there has been a change. Keep required originals and copies distinct when organising the documents.
Examination-day preparation
Plan the journey using the full venue address and reporting time on the call letter. Review the handout’s entry, identification and permitted-item instructions in advance. The reporting time is not interchangeable with the test start time; late arrival can cause a problem even if you believe the test has not started.
Troubleshooting a download
Check the recruitment and stage, then the details entered in the official login. If the access period has ended, retain saved documents and use SBI’s official assistance route. If a detail is incorrect, seek the prescribed clarification instead of editing the downloaded call letter yourself. Never publish passwords or full identity documents in comments.
Admit card versus result
A call letter permits participation subject to its conditions. It is not a final selection certificate. If you want marks or qualification status, use the separate result page and the relevant official result document.
