Hindu College, University of Delhi: Courses & Admission Guide

At a glance

Hindu College is a University of Delhi college. For an arts or humanities shortlist, inspect the specific department, its syllabus and subject combination rather than treating the college as a single course. The college website publishes a 2026–27 admission announcement and separate academic resources.

Programme and admission decisions

Start with the exact degree, not a generic “Hindu College cut-off.” Economics, English, science and commerce programmes can require different CUET combinations. The 2026–27 DU bulletin requires CUET papers to match subjects studied/passed in Class 12. Check its programme-specific table before assuming that NTA’s freedom to choose a test makes you eligible for admission.

For 2027 planning, keep the 2026 requirements as a reference until the new university bulletin appears. A CUET result, a CSAS preference and an accepted allocation are three different stages.

Use the college’s academic menu to inspect departments and syllabus, then match your intended programme against the University of Delhi admission bulletin. Keep subject eligibility, preferences and the college’s admission help desk details together in your notes.

CUET UG and university-specific requirements explains the examination route. Do not use an old reporting notice as a new application deadline.

Fees and living costs

A single headline fee can hide differences between programmes, categories and academic years. Obtain the current official fee schedule for your exact course. Record tuition, mandatory charges, deposits, hostel and mess separately; do not compare an annual fee with another college’s full-course total.

Questions to resolve before a seat decision

  • Which exact BA or honours programme matches my intended subject?
  • Which optional papers and language choices are available under its rules?
  • What are the library, accessibility and accommodation arrangements for this academic session?

Teaching, campus and outcomes

Read the programme syllabus and ask to see the relevant facilities and timetable. For outcomes, request a dated report with the programme, cohort size and number of students placed or progressing to further study. This profile does not assign a rating or treat an advertised highest salary as a typical student outcome.

Compare a subject at Hindu with another college

Make one comparison row per programme: compulsory first-year papers, your eligible CUET combination, total annual cost, travel or housing, and evidence of practical or project work. For commerce or economics, compare the SRCC profile. Do not treat either institution’s name as a guarantee of a particular elective, hostel place or placement.

Make a documented comparison

Add this profile to a college comparison or browse all researched profiles. Compare the same qualification and cost period wherever possible.
