Historical qualification and examination context

The 2025 notice used 1 January 2026 as the age/qualification reference and listed department-specific degree or diploma routes, with experience for some diploma routes. It described Group B, non-gazetted, non-ministerial Level 6 posts. Both examination papers were computer-based; Paper II was not a descriptive written paper.

Official source: Notification, paragraphs 2, 7 and 13 (PDF).

Selection and cut-offs

The 2025 final-result tie rules refer to aggregate Paper I and Paper II marks. This differs from the separately researched 2026 scheme. The result contains post/category-specific cut-offs and a code legend; use the 2025 cut-off explanation for reading the tables.

After final allocation

The final result assigns fresh ranks that supersede FRTA ranks. Document verification and appointment formalities move to the allocated user department. The write-up directs candidates without correspondence for six months after the final result to contact that department thereafter; it does not say that every appointee must wait six months before acting on a call letter.

SSC states that no reserve/waiting list is prepared; non-joining vacancies are carried forward by departments. Provisional allocation still depends on meeting documentary and appointment requirements.
