Fee and correction rules

The notification prescribed a ₹100 application fee, with exemptions for women, SC, ST, PwBD and eligible ex-servicemen. Corrections required the applicable charge and were limited to the permitted window. A correction facility for submitted forms was not a new recruitment application.

Historical eligibility and selection

Detailed guide: SSC MTS Eligibility: Age and Qualification Reference

The 2025 age and Matriculation reference date was 1 August 2025. Ordinary age groups were 18–25 for MTS and 18–27 for Havaldar and some MTS posts, subject to relaxations. The CBE used two compulsory sessions, with merit based on Session II; Havaldar additionally required PET/PST. Both posts were listed at Pay Level 1.

Records to keep

Retain the final submitted form, fee/correction acknowledgements and the chosen post/State/UT/CCA preferences. Those preferences can affect consideration under the selection rules. An OTR account alone did not submit the MTS application.
