Read the complete table correctly
Pages 2–4 separate Mechanical/Electrical and Civil allocations. Page 5 maps department codes A–O. Match discipline, post code and category before comparing scores; the BRO example does not represent every JE vacancy. Horizontal-category rows must be read under the explanation in paragraph 5.
The “Total” column is distinct from Paper II marks and the Paper I component fields. Do not substitute a single Paper II score for the 2025 total cut-off or compare it directly with a different cycle’s merit system.
Tie resolution
For equal aggregate Paper I and II marks, the order was Paper II total, Paper I Part (i), Paper I Part (ii), older date of birth, then alphabetical name order. These details explain why identical totals need not mean identical allocation.

After final allocation
The final result assigns fresh ranks that supersede FRTA ranks. Document verification and appointment formalities move to the allocated user department. The write-up directs candidates without correspondence for six months after the final result to contact that department thereafter; it does not say that every appointee must wait six months before acting on a call letter.
SSC states that no reserve/waiting list is prepared; non-joining vacancies are carried forward by departments. Provisional allocation still depends on meeting documentary and appointment requirements.
