Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC): Courses & Admission Guide

At a glance

Programme and admission decisions

Commerce and Economics need different subject planning

For the published DU 2026–27 rules, Economics (Hons.) requires a List A language, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics and two List B subjects. BCom (Hons.) accepts the stated mathematics combination or a language, Accountancy/Book Keeping and two List B subjects. The bulletin also requires CUET subjects to match those studied/passed in Class 12.

Read the DU undergraduate bulletin alongside the college’s admission page. These combinations describe 2026–27; confirm the new bulletin before choosing papers for 2027 admission. A general aptitude paper alone does not substitute for the programme’s required subject combination.

The undergraduate admissions page links the 2026–27 University of Delhi information and CSAS documents. Start with the exact subject combination required for your chosen programme. An entrance-test application and university preference submission are separate steps.

CUET UG subject choices and university admission explains the examination route. Do not use an old reporting notice as a new application deadline.

Fees and living costs

A single headline fee can hide differences between programmes, categories and academic years. Obtain the current official fee schedule for your exact course. Record tuition, mandatory charges, deposits, hostel and mess separately; do not compare an annual fee with another college’s full-course total.

Questions to resolve before a seat decision

  • Which CUET papers and school subjects are required for my chosen programme?
  • How much quantitative work is required in Economics compared with Commerce?
  • What are the current semester charges and accommodation arrangements?

Teaching, campus and outcomes

Read the programme syllabus and ask to see the relevant facilities and timetable. For outcomes, request a dated report with the programme, cohort size and number of students placed or progressing to further study. This profile does not assign a rating or treat an advertised highest salary as a typical student outcome.

Build an SRCC application checklist

  1. Choose BCom (Hons.) or Economics (Hons.) and record the applicable subject combination.
  2. Keep CUET registration separate from DU CSAS registration and preference submission.
  3. Match certificates and category details to DU’s document requirements.
  4. After allocation, follow the acceptance, verification and fee-payment deadlines shown for that round.

Use the Hindu College profile as another DU option to investigate, comparing the exact degree rather than college names alone.
