Check SSC CHSL 2026 admission-certificate timing, city information, download steps and exam-day documents against the official SSC notice.

At a glance

Source review: 6 October 2026. This guide distinguishes the recruitment cycle from the calendar year in which an event happened. Later SSC notices take precedence over the documents cited here.

SSC CHSL admit card 2026: SSC’s 1 October schedule gives a proposed Tier I window of 30 November–31 December 2026. The notification says admission certificates are made available 2–3 days before the examination. That is an availability rule, not evidence that your admit card has already been released.

Where to download the admission certificate

  1. Open SSC’s official website and use the candidate login or the relevant admission-certificate link when provided.
  2. Select the correct CHSL cycle and stage; a 2025 link is not the 2026 examination.
  3. Follow the instructions for your login and verify the candidate details, date, shift and venue shown.
  4. Save the certificate and print it. Read all reporting, identity-document and prohibited-item instructions on it.
  5. If SSC directs you to a Regional Office, use the regional link from the official SSC website.

GovtAdhikari does not issue admit cards or need your password, OTP or application documents to provide this guide. The official portal determines availability. Do not treat a city-information slip as the admission certificate.

What to check before travelling

  • Your name and examination cycle/stage.
  • Exam date, reporting time and gate-closing instructions.
  • Centre address and any specific route or venue instructions.
  • Required identity and date-of-birth evidence.
  • Applicable scribe, disability and authentication instructions.

The proposed national exam window does not determine your personal exam day. Plan travel from the individual certificate and official updates. Admission is provisional and does not replace eligibility or document verification.

Documents and Aadhaar-authentication distinction

All candidates must bring the admission-certificate printout. Paragraph 14.7 specifically requires candidates who could not undergo Aadhaar-based authentication to report two hours before the scheduled start and carry at least two recent passport-size colour photographs plus an original valid photo ID bearing the date of birth printed on the certificate.

The listed identity documents include Voter ID, driving licence, PAN card, passport, a school/college/university ID, Government/PSU employer ID, the specified ex-serviceman discharge book or another Central/State Government photo ID. Where the photo ID lacks the date of birth, paragraph 14.8 requires additional original birth-date proof. A mismatch with the admission certificate can prevent admission.

Candidates using a scribe must carry the applicable medical certificate, undertaking and scribe-ID documents. Carry any other document specified on the admission certificate. Aadhaar-authenticated candidates should follow their own certificate’s instructions; the special two-hour instruction above must not be presented as a universal rule.

Missing certificate or incorrect details

If your details are absent one week before your examination, contact the concerned Regional Office immediately with proof of application. The notice requires correspondence to include registration number, roll number, registered email and mobile number, name, date of birth and examination name. Send these only through the official contact channel, not in a public comment.

If information conflicts, seek an official correction or instruction rather than editing the certificate yourself. Do not assume an application submission alone guarantees acceptance.

Using this guide for 2027 preparation

The verified recruitment rules on this page are for 2026. We have not verified a CHSL 2027 notification in this review. Do not carry dates, vacancies, age reference dates or pay claims into a future cycle without checking its official notice.
