Final result, allocation and cut-offs

SSC’s final-result write-up records 15,118 provisionally shortlisted candidates: 10,165 Fix, 4,501 Float and 452 new allocations. The vacancy table separates 249 JSO, 118 Statistical Investigator Grade II and 14,751 other-post vacancies. These are 2025-cycle figures, not the 2026 vacancy count.

The final write-up contains post-wise/category-wise last-selected marks. Read the exact post code and category; a single “CGL cut-off” cannot describe all posts. Horizontal reservation is explained separately and must not be added again to vertical-category totals.

Selection context

The FRTA notice describes Tier II shortlisting and qualifying Computer Knowledge Test and Data Entry Speed Test components. Only candidates who submitted the required preferences and met the applicable qualifying conditions were considered. The final result followed sliding/identity verification; use the later final allocation rather than treating FRTA as the final appointment outcome.

Official source: FRTA, paragraphs 3–5 (PDF).

What candidates should retain

Keep the submitted application, preference acknowledgement, downloaded scorecard, allocation details and correspondence from the allocated department. Provisional shortlisting is not an appointment letter; subsequent verification and department instructions still matter. Do not pay an intermediary to reopen a closed SSC window.
