SSC CHSL cut-off guide: the tables below are SSC’s published 2025-cycle Tier I normalized cut-offs, released on 27 February 2026. They are not CHSL 2026 cut-offs or predicted safe scores. The current-cycle examination and the previous-cycle results must be kept separate.
Cut-off, qualifying marks and selection are different
Minimum qualifying percentages are an eligibility threshold for consideration at a stage. The recruitment cut-off is the actual category/post-group threshold SSC uses for shortlisting. Passing a minimum percentage does not guarantee shortlisting, allocation or appointment.
The 2025 Tier I write-up sets minimum percentages of 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/EWS and 20% for all other categories. Its separate shortlisting tables contain the higher marks actually used. SSC states that normalized marks were used because the examination ran in multiple shifts.

A missing category row is not a zero cut-off and does not establish eligibility or exclusion. The official lists include footnotes about candidates qualifying at other thresholds. Read the complete write-up when interpreting candidate totals or reservation categories.
CHSL 2025 Tier II / FRTA cut-offs
The 17 August 2026 write-up covers the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA). It supplies post-code and category-specific last-selected marks, not one universal “final CHSL cut-off.” Read the relevant post code and category in the PDF. FRTA is a tentative allocation stage and must not be relabelled as a completed final appointment result.
How to compare marks correctly
- Match the recruitment cycle before comparing any score.
- Match Tier I or Tier II/FRTA; their marks are not interchangeable.
- Match the post group or post code and category.
- Use normalized marks where SSC’s write-up requires them.
- Read qualifying-test conditions, preferences and document-verification requirements separately.
An old cut-off is a historical reference, not a guaranteed target for the next examination. Changes in vacancies, candidates, papers and selection rules can affect thresholds. This page does not publish an unsupported expected-cut-off range.
SSC CHSL 2026 and 2027 status
No CHSL 2026 recruitment cut-off is established by the documents reviewed here. SSC’s 1 October schedule places the proposed 2026 Tier I window at 30 November–31 December. A 2027 cut-off is also unverified. This permanent URL will keep historical tables labelled by cycle when new official result write-ups become available.
Frequently asked questions
Is 144.25858 the 2026 UR cut-off?
No. It is the CHSL 2025 Tier I List 1 UR cut-off published in February 2026.
Are minimum qualifying marks enough for selection?
No. Actual shortlisting cut-offs and the remaining selection conditions also apply.
Where is the official Tier II cut-off?
Use the CHSL 2025 FRTA write-up’s post-code/category tables. Do not treat one post’s marks as the cut-off for every post.
