SSC JE admit card 2026: the notification specifies download availability 3–4 days before the examination. SSC’s 1 October notice gives a proposed Paper I window of 2–6 November. This guide does not claim that every candidate’s certificate is already available.

Download and check the certificate
- Visit SSC’s official website and use the candidate login/admission-certificate route it provides.
- Select the correct JE cycle and paper.
- Check candidate details, technical subject, examination date, reporting time and centre.
- Download and print the certificate; keep another copy for records.
- Follow the individual certificate’s reporting and document instructions.
A city-information slip is not a substitute for the admission certificate. Do not infer a personal shift from the national exam window.
Identity documents and authentication
Paragraph 15.7 requires candidates who have not undergone Aadhaar-based authentication to report two hours before the scheduled start and carry at least two recent passport-size colour photographs plus an original valid photo ID with the same date of birth as the certificate.
Where the photo ID lacks a date of birth, paragraph 15.8 requires additional original birth-date evidence. A mismatch can prevent admission. That paragraph states the specified requirements do not apply to Aadhaar-authenticated candidates; those candidates should follow their own certificate’s instructions. All candidates must carry the printout and any other required documents.
Scribe and missing-details procedure
Eligible candidates using a scribe must carry the required medical certificate, undertaking and scribe-ID documents. Do not assume a disability claim alone removes the documentation requirement.
If your details are absent one week before examination, contact the concerned Regional Office with application proof. The notice requests registration ID, registered email/mobile, name, date of birth and examination name in correspondence. Share these through the official channel, not a public comment or unofficial form.
Frequently asked questions
Is JE admit-card timing the same as every other SSC exam?
Use the JE notice: it states 3–4 days before examination. Do not substitute another exam’s interval.
Will SSC email the certificate?
The notice says certificates are available on the website, not issued by post/email.
Does the admit card confirm final eligibility?
No. Admission is provisional and supporting claims remain subject to verification.
