Why the cycle includes 2026 dates

SSC labels a recruitment by its examination cycle. A January examination or May result does not turn CGL 2025 into CGL 2026. The 2026 hub contains a separate schedule and must not replace this history.

Window versus individual attendance

An overall schedule did not identify an individual candidate’s shift or venue. Those details belonged to the admission certificate. For an attendance dispute, use the original certificate and official correspondence, not an archived national window.

What candidates should retain

Keep the submitted application, preference acknowledgement, downloaded scorecard, allocation details and correspondence from the allocated department. Provisional shortlisting is not an appointment letter; subsequent verification and department instructions still matter. Do not pay an intermediary to reopen a closed SSC window.
