Fee, exemptions and correction charges

The notice specifies an application fee of ₹100 with exemptions for women, SC, ST, PwBD and ESM eligible for reservation. The fee deadline was separate from the form deadline. Non-exempt applications remaining incomplete because SSC had not received the fee could be rejected.

Eligible completed applications could be corrected/resubmitted at most twice during the published window. The charges were ₹200 for the first correction and ₹500 for the second, irrespective of gender/category. If applicable correction charges were not received, the notice says the previous application remained valid.

Qualification and subject choice matter

The application recorded the post/stream and technical subject. IMD candidates chose one of the listed subject routes, while JE Telecom uses Part G. Eligibility for more than one post does not remove the requirement to appear in the appropriate opted papers. The notification says the subject/stream choice cannot be changed.

Before relying on a submitted application, check the qualification guide and the IMD addendum. Admission to an exam is provisional and does not settle document verification.

Checking your submitted application

  1. Open SSC’s official website and use your candidate login.
  2. Check the correct JE 2026 application and payment status.
  3. Keep the submitted form, transaction record and any correction acknowledgement.
  4. Use SSC’s official contact channel for discrepancies, with the details requested in the notice.
  5. Check the examination and admission-certificate notices separately.

Do not post passwords, OTPs or identity documents in public comments or send them to an unofficial “application help” form. GovtAdhikari does not accept SSC applications.
